What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a regulated health profession that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal (bones, muscle and nerves) problems, that impact on the health of our nervous systems, that can be caused by wear and tear, poor posture, stress, accidents and sedentary lifestyles, manifesting as pain, stiffness, weakness or numbness and tingling, without the use of drugs.

It involves method of adjusting the bones in your body to improve the alignment of your skeleton, and through this process help the nervous system to work more efficiently. The purpose of chiropractic care is to realign and re-balance your body to relieve pain and discomfort, and increase mobility. This is achieved through the use of our hands without the need for adjusting instruments.

Anne is trained in a number of techniques which involve quick, precise, light force adjustments to free the nervous system from interference and enables the innate self healing of the body to be maximised. It is a gentle, relaxing treatment suitable for all ages, even in pregnancy.
